Elemental Developments has been created as a way to combine all aspects of our business portfolio and expertise under one roof.
In 1998 our first group of companies was created and quickly made significant strides in the property industry. Boosted by a pivotal role in a £35m depot project for Bombardier Transportation, the company expanded its services to include land sourcing, development and project management. Notably, we collaborated on the construction of a 90,000 sq ft award winning headquarters for AEA Technology plc, setting new standards in commercial development in Derby. This project marked a milestone as the largest single office letting in over 25 years at the time, and Jubilee House is now proudly occupied by Rolls Royce.
We also designed and built a further 100,000 sq ft of bespoke office buildings on Brunel way on Pride Park for the small business market.
We have a proven track record of successful projects, including for example the purchase and assembly of former retail and industrial land, which we attained a change of use planning permission achieving 105 residential units , which was subsequently sold to Barrett Homes. We also procured and realised the development of 100,000 sq ft of industrial space near Derby city centre. Additionally the company secured planning approval for a £14m residential development along the River Derwent, featuring 76 pre-sold units, and also, created a 65-room student accommodation project in Nottingham.
More recently, Elemental Developments has acquired an interest in supplying and building modular and elemental timber buildings, enabling a variety of opportunities from working closely with individual clients to design and create their dream homes to corporate organisations who have large scale requirements in a variety of sectors.

These structures are designed with a state of the art technology that allows the construction to be undertaken sectionally, only requiring 2 people if desired.
